Crude oil production regressed across the US onshore and offshore in December, according to data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), putting the US upstream on unsteady footing heading into the new year. The agency’s latest Petroleum Supply Monthly shows that US oil output fell by about 84,000 barrels per day from November to 12.779 million b/d in the final month of 2020.
