Russia said its May crude oil production fell to 8.59 million barrels per day — after excluding gas condensate — putting it just a whisker above the country’s Opec-plus ceiling of 8.49 million b/d for May and June. New data released by the energy ministry on Tuesday showed that Russia’s combined output of crude oil and condensate amounted to 9.388 million b/d in May.
