PLC control from inlet-to-outlet

A new water treatment works at the Dee Valley Water (DVW) Llwyn Onn site in North Wales is being controlled from inlet to outlet with a redundant modular PLC. The new water treatment works have the capacity to produce 47,000m~3 of drinking water per day. In addition to the standard treatment processes the plant also includes an automated processing system for removing manganese, a mineral that occurs naturally in surface water in the region.
