Russia's Gazprom has secured an equiv- alent of €11.4 billion ($12.6 billion) in external financing for the massive Amur gas-processing plant.The gas corporation arranged a debt package with 22 banks, including 14 from Europe and Japan, which pro- vided €3.66 billion under the insur- ance coverage from Western export credit agencies for 17 years, plus an extra €1 billion for 15 years on an un- covered basis, Gazprom said. Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk, the fully owned subsidiary project company, is the borrower.
