Bearish sentiment continues to grip the seaborne coking coal market, where prices fell to a three-year low this month. A cargo of premium mid-vol coking coal was traded in Tangshan recently at around 1,455 yuan per tonne, a source told Fastmarkets on Tuesday September 24. This price is equivalent to about $176 per tonne cfr China in the seaborne market.
