LME considers advanced stock reporting in warehouse reform proposal

The London Metal Exchange has proposed an enhancement of itswarehouse stock reporting model in a bid to garner furthertransparency against a recent tide of inordinate stock moves, itsaid in its latest warehousing discussion paper released on FridayMarch 29.In accordance with the LME’s warehousing committee, the boursehas unveiled nine warehouse proposals to counter the expansion ofwarehouse queues and falling on-warrant inventories amid growingmarket concerns.
