China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) has lowered itstungsten price forecasts for May to reflect the price falls of recentweeks and bearish market sentiment.The GTA forecast an average price of 93,000 yuan ($13,729) pertonne for black tungsten concentrate 55% in May. Market sourcesimplied that the predicted average price for black tungstenconcentrate 65% is 94,000 yuan per tonne in May, based on theforecast price of 55% WO3 tungsten concentrate.
