EUROPE CRC: Domestic prices under pressure from decline of HRC prices

Domestic prices for cold-rolled coil in Europe have been fairly stable over the week to Wednesday February 5, but a decline in prices for hot-rolled coil might have a negative effect on the market, sources have told Fastmarkets. Over the week, the positive trend that had settled in the European hot-rolled products sector changed, and domestic prices started to go down due to slower buying activity and uncertainties in the international markets. HRC is used as feedstock for CRC production.
