A two-week drop in Northwest European coal prices is forcing tradersto turn their back on the continent and shift more Colombian andhigh-sulphur United States (US) material to China and India.In the last couple of days prices in the Atlantic Basin haveturned positive, paring losses which saw the IHS McCloskey NWEurope Steam Coal marker hit an eight-month low on 12 Februaryat $79.09/t, down more than 18% in a month.
