United States (US) sub-bituminous thermal coal producer, Cloud Peak Energy, said it “has commenced a review of strategic alternatives, including a potential sale of the company.” Cloud Peak's board of directors is working with the company's management team and legal and financial advisers to review the alternatives, the company said.
