Givaudan finalises Quest purchase

Givaudan closed its acquisition of Quest International on 2 March following approval by both the US and EU regulatory authorities.Givaudan says it expects to achieve annual synergies of at least SF150m,with full benefits realised after year three.The combined companies will be global market leader in both fine fragrances and consumer products.Givaudan's leadership of the flavours market,meanwhile,will be extended.
