US Midwest: Ammonia application window still open

Midwest ammonia application continues on both sides of the Mississippi River, sources said. Some wet weather and colder than expected ground conditions are putting some time constraints on end-users. The window should remain open through the Thanksgiving holiday, said one market participant, noting ammonia application in some parts of the Midwest continued through the first week of December in 2017.
