Brazil: Jan-July MAP imports flat

Brazil's MAP imports from January-July rose 0.7% year on year to 1.88 Mt, according to the latest ANDA data. July MAP imports rose 47% year on year to 442,035 t amid a surge in seasonal demand and slow purchasing from January-May. Brazil's MAP production in the seven months was 714,317 t, up 4.9% year on year. MAP production in the full year 2017 rose 2.7% to 1.2 million mt.
