French UAN prices extend gains

UAN prices in France rose yet again this week, buoyed by a slumping euro against the dollar and by continued restricted supply. None of Achema, Fertial or Abu Qir were producing substantial volumes, keeping competition for supply fierce. Additionally GrodnoAzot declined to float a tender this week, having awarded its August 3 tender for 25,000 t UAN to Nitron at €157.25/t FOB Klaipeda ($182.22/t).
