Middle East: Producers enjoy improving urea returns

Middle East producers continued to take advantage of increased buying interest and higher contract netbacks as the week progressed. Prices for spot cargoes peaked at $292/t FOB via the PIC sale, so far, but the suppliers are aiming substantially higher for forward positions. This follows multiple sales at $295/t FOB from Indonesia, and deals/bids as high as $308/t FOB by/to African producers.
