Higher fertilizer prices in Brazil are reducing farmers' demand for crop applications in 2018-19, Mosaic Brazil supply chain director Eduardo Monteiro said in a telephone interview with Bloomberg. Prior to the previously-reported truckers' strike, Mosaic had been expecting Brazilian fertilizer deliveries to grow by around 3.5% year on year in 2018 but is now anticipating growth of 2%, according to the report.
