APC posts 30% increase in H1 profits

Jordan’s Arab Potash Company (APC) posted net income of JOD 52.7 million ($74.3 million) for the first half of 2018, a 30% increase year on year, the company said. The improved profits were attributed by APC to increased potash production and sales volumes as well as higher realised prices, which the company said had been supported by strong demand.
