Acron H1 2018 commercial fertilizer output up 4%

Acron posted total commercial fertilizer output from Novgorod and Dorogobuzh facilities up 4% year-on-year at 3.7 Mt for the first half of 2018, according to a July 24 company press release. Acron said the group increased ammonia output by 2% over the first six months of this year. At the new Ammonia-4 unit, output was 417,000 t, up 7% year-on-year. Further planned improvements will increase the unit’s capacity to 2,500 t/day ammonia. Expanding total ammonia output will allow Acron to boost production of nitrogen and complex fertilisers.
