K+S boosted by Bethune sales in Q1

Germany’s K+S said first-quarter revenues increase by 4% year on year to ?1.17 billion ($2.0 billion) on the back of higher potash prices and increased shipments from the new Bethune mine in Saskatchewan. Sales volumes in K+S’s potash and magnesium products business unit increased to 1.94 million mt in the first three months of the year from 1.82 million mt in Q1 2017, the company said May 14.
