India: January urea stocks down 66%, FAI data show

Urea inventories with individual states in India at the end of January were assessed at 502,000 mt, down sharply from 1.46 million mt at the end of January 2017, Fertilizer Association of India (FAI) data show. Further to earlier Indian urea supply/demand estimates, January stocks were also down on the 636,000 mt at the end of December 2017, according to the data.
