India: Contract talks continue for 2018

Spot prices for sulphuric acid sales to India were assessed unchanged at $35-50/mt CFR, with no new sales confirmed. Sources suggested that PPL had expressed a willingness to pay into the $50s/mt CFR when it was seeking tonnes in December, though the buyer subsequently turned to the sulphur market instead as sulphur prices have been falling in recent weeks.
