Indian buyers and OCP remain far apart on bids and offers over the first quarter phosphoric acid price with an agreement unlikely in the near term, according to market sources. An increase is likely from the Q4 price of $567-572/mt CFR 100% P2O5 following the recent surge in sulphur and DAP prices globally, with buyers understood to have been willing to accept an increase to around $620/mt CFR.
