Subdued nitrates markets after holidays

UAN trade has slowed to a trickle, even in the US. At NOLA, the market is fairly illiquid with little barge trade. Latest postings are at $165-170/st FOB. East Coast UAN-32 prices did move up to $190-195/mt CFR. EuroChem is reported still in the freight market to load two vessels from the Black Sea to the US in January. European activity in UAN is yet to recover after the holidays. Prices are unchanged in all markets, including Spain, France and Germany, and postings made could well have been labelled "No Market", rather than providing an indication of the limited trades around the festive season.
