Moroccan demand for spot tonnes was essentially absent as the buyer OCP had exited the market and was focused on contract negotiations for the first quarter of 2018, sources said. There were reports that OCP may be able to agree on Q1 contracts for Polish supply around $120/mt CFR, but this was not confirmed by either party at this stage, and would be an anomaly as the Polish volumes are typically priced on a formula basis.
