Brazil: Granular values well into $290s/mt CFR

Brazilian importers are following the same tactic as most global buyers, holding off on major purchases after the Indian NFL tender was scrapped earlier in the week. Sales of small parcels off inbound carriers were reported around $295/mt CFR early in the week, but mainstream buyers are since holding out for values well below the $290/mt CFR marker, and appear likely to succeed. Firm November 8 offers for parcels into Vitoria at $290/mt failed to elicit acceptance.
