Brazil: September MAP imports down 18%

Brazil's MAP imports in September fell 18% year on year to 234,820 mt, according to the latest Anda data. Despite the decline, the shipments bring January-September MAP imports to 2.6 million mt, up 19% year on year. Brazil's MAP production in the first nine months of the year rose 1.9% to 851,485 mt. The country's DAP imports in September rose 13% to 18,698 mt, with DAP imports in the first nine months down 5.3% at 324,166 mt.
