Belgium: June MOP imports more than double

Belgium’s June imports of MOP more than doubled from the same month of 2016 to 129,086 mt, leaving the volume for the first half of 2017 up 36% year on year at 510,213 mt, according to IHS GTA data. June imports from Canpotex climbed 33% year on year to 49,089 mt MOP, while those from K+S rose to 22,714 mt from nothing in June 2016. Other sources for the month include Uralkali with 20,176 mt and BPC with 17,482 mt.
