Indonesia: January-July MOP imports at record high

Indonesia imported 419,394 mt MOP in July, leaving arrivals in January through that month up 32% year on year at a record high 2.09 million mt, according to IHS GTA data. The overall July volume was up from 171,180 mt MOP in the same month of 2016. Canpotex was the source of 163,511 mt in July 2017, a 99% increase year on year, while arrivals from Uralkali climbed to 104,949 mt from 26,999 mt previously.
