Colombia: NPK imports up 35% in January

Colombia's NPK imports in January reached 15,262 mt, up 35% year on year, according to IHS GTA data. The imports include 11,437 mt NPK from Finland and Norway. Colombia's 2016 NPK imports were down 38% year on year at 80,188 mt. NPK exports however increased 5% through the calendar year 2016 to 189,922 mt, with Venezuela taking 81% or 153,812 mt. In January NPK exports reached just 574 mt, with zero tonnes going to Venezuela.
