Global sulphur prices and sentiment showed signs of retreating from the recent bullish tones, as buyers in China continued to push for lower levels. Chinese traders pulled back from the market, while end users were not willing to pay recent offer prices, leading to price ideas and business no higher than $105/mt CFR this week, with most now pegging prices at $102-103/mt and buyers pushing for sub-$100/mt on forward prices.
