Middle East: Producers face further price deterioration

Increased availability of granular urea for loading outside existing commitments triggered further downward price adjustments for Middle East producers to secure sales. A full cargo is reported sold some $15/mt below last week's high end for non-US netbacks, and bids for additional tonnage are even lower. SIUCI is widely linked with the $225/mt FOB sale.
