The US imported 1.17 Mt MOP in May, a 16% decrease year on year which left imports in January-May down 7% from the same period last year at 5.20 Mt, according to IHS Markit. January-May imports from Canada dipped 1% year on year to 4.61 Mt. Of this, 1.52 Mt were re-exported from Portland, Oregon, a 4% decrease.
