Brazil: Jan-Feb MAP imports up 14%

Brazil imported 916,676 t granular phosphates (DAP/MAP/TSP/SSP/NPK/NP and NPS) in the first two months of 2020, a 24% decline year on year as increases in MAP imports were offset by decreases in all other products, according to IHS Markit data. Brazil imported 10.0 Mt granular phosphates in the full year 2019, an 11% year-on-year rise (or roughly 1.0 Mt higher).
