India: Stalemate reached on DAP prices

DAP buying activity in India slowed somewhat this week as import offers increased but domestic phosphate fertilizer production rates returned to near-normal levels. Latest sales were secured at $313-315/t CFR and RCF scrapped a 30,000 t DAP enquiry, seeking lower than the $317.49/t CFR lowest offer from Aries. Aries is rumoured to have sold a 45,000 t DAP cargo from China's Dayukou to India's IPL for June shipment at $318/t CFR with credit, or roughly $314-315/t CFR sight but this has yet to be confirmed.
