Chinese port wholesale MOP prices have continued to soften, with the market this week assessed down RMB 60 ($8)/t on the lower end of the range at an indicative RMB 1,930- 2,200 ($271-309)/t FCA. Mainstream red standard MOP prices decreased to around RMB 2,000/t FCA from RMB 2,020-2,030/t FCA last week. The low end of the red standard MOP price range fell RMB 60/t to RMB 1,930/ FCA based on netbacks for sales reported on a delivered basis.
