US S. Plains: DAP/MAP pulled higher by replacement costs

DAP postings in the US Southern Plains have moved up because replacement costs have increased out of the barge market. New quotes in Arkansas and Oklahoma are cited at $325-330/st FOB. This is a $20/st increase over last week. In the interim spot costs out of the New Orleans market have moved over $300/st FOB, making even the recently posted prices insufficient to cover DAP or MAP shipped by barge from the US Gulf and to move it through a warehouse to dealers.
