India: MOP inventories down 3% from last week

India’s countrywide MOP inventories decreased 3% over the last week to 1.52 Mt and are now roughly 8% lower than they were the same time last month, according to updated data from the Department of Fertilizers (DoF). Port MOP stocks in India have fallen 5% week on week to 368,000 t. Countrywide inventories in India are down from a peak of 2.67 Mt in July 2019, the DoF data show.
