Urea trade remains limited with prices under downwards pressure in key regions amid reduced demand. A substantial easing in freights on some trade routes has not helped suppliers’ cause as much as hoped for and they are braced for lower netbacks in the weeks to come. Both granular and prilled urea are affected by the unwillingness on the part of most traders to secure long positions for late February and beyond.
