Granular MOP activity in Northwest Europe has yet to pick up from the Christmas holiday period, with buying interest limited and some short-term market expectations still unclear. Most recent bids in France were reported by participants around €260/t CIF. Buyers have been holding out for price declines following decreases in other key global markets. Northwest Europe gMOP prices are assessed indicatively unchanged at €260-270/t CIF pending confirmation of fresh business.
