India: FACT tender goes in $20s/t CFR

Spot prices for sulphuric acid sales to India were assessed unchanged at $10-15/t CFR, with no new sales reported this week, although many traders pegged indicative prices higher. The last spot sales of full-size cargoes to major buyers were reported concluded at $12-13/t CFR at the end of August. Larger buyers were relatively well covered for the short term, sources said, and also had some delayed contract volumes to receive. These buyers reportedly had some appetite for volumes to arrive later in the year, but were holding out for low-priced deals.
