Spot prices for sulphuric acid cargoes to Brazil were assessed unchanged again at $55-60/t CFR as new sales were awaited. As previously reported, Timac was in the market for a cargo for mid-April arrival, but it has not yet finalised a deal. Offers were reported in the $50s/t CFR, but the buyer was holding out for the upper $40s/t CFR, according to sources.
