Brazil: Producers push for gMOP sales in the $240s/t CFR

Granular MOP spot prices to Brazil were assessed indicatively unchanged this week at $230- 235/t CFR, though some producers suggested the market had moved up to $240/t CFR. BPC said it was sold out for shipment in July-August and it was attempting to achieve sales at $240-245/t CFR for September. Multiple other suppliers are also reported to be sold out for spot shipment to Brazil and pushing for price rises as a result.
