Brazil: gMOP prices pegged at $285-295/t CFR

Granular MOP prices for bulk spot sales to Brazil were assessed down slightly further this week at an indicative $285-295/t CFR compared with $290-295/t CFR previously. BPC reported the sale of 25,000 t gMOP at $290/t CFR to a Brazilian importer. The vessel was reportedly loaded early this week. Another supplier pegged market prices for bulk shipments to Brazil at $285-290/t CFR, though there were a lack of other large sales to report this week. An importer also said prices were as low as $285/t CFR.
