Sulphur prices spiral further downwards

Sulphur prices continued their downwards spiral this week, with lower assessments on a range of price benchmarks including those for China, Brazil, the Mediterranean, and others. As inventories in China have increased rather than decreased while downstream phosphates markets remain weak, there is little support for any imminent reversal in price direction.
