EuroChem’s first-half 2019 net income shot up to $612 million from $210 million in the same period last year on the back of a “favourable pricing environment” and higher sales volumes, the company said August 6. “EuroChem has delivered strong half-year results which, with the full launch of our new ammonia facility at Kingisepp and the excellent progress with potash production volumes at Usolskiy, leaves us well positioned for the remainder of the year,” EuroChem Group CEO Petter Ostbo said.
