A deal that would have seen gas from the Tamar field in Israel supplied to the idle liquefaction plant in Damietta, Egypt, has been scrapped - less than four years after the initial agreement was inked. A stock filing by Tamar field partner Delek Drilling said the agreement with Spanish firm Union Fenosa Gas (UFG) - a joint venture between Spain's Gas Natural Fenosa and Italy's Eni - "is no longer relevant", without providing further details.
