Inpex sings about Ichthys LNG 'progress' but hints at fresh delay to start-up

Japan's Inpex has made material progress at its Ichthys LNG mega-project in Darwin, Australia, but appears to have incurred a fresh delay, with the plant already running two years behind schedule. The company said on Monday it has completed commissioning of the first train, the Ichthys Venturer floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) facility, and subsea production systems.
