Bulgaria to save millions of dollars in transit fees after switching on Turkstream tap

Bulgaria is set to save BGN 81 million (USD 46.1 million) in transit fees by receiving Russian gas via TurkStream instead of via Romania, after signing an agreement with Russian gas giant Gazprom to switch the point of entry of Russian natural gas into Bulgaria from the Romanian border town of Negru Voda, to Malkoclar in Turkey, Bulgaria's state-owned gas firm Bulgargaz said in a statement on Tuesday.
