Providence and its subsidiary EXOLA are yet to receive a loan from China’s APEC for the farm-out of a stake in SEL 1/11 offshore Ireland, which holds the Barryroe project. In 2018, Providence’s subsidiary EXOLA and partner Lansdowne agreed to farm out a 50% stake in SEL 1/11 to a Chinese consortium led by APEC Energy Enterprise, a privately-owned Chinese company which has a strategic partnership with China Oilfield Services.
