Ampelmann wins Valhall work

Ampelmann of the Netherlands has landed a contract from DeepOcean to support the hook-up and commissioning of the Aker BP-operated Valhall Flank West (VFW) project offshore Norway. An E-type Walk to Work (W2W) system will support the Normand Jarstein vessel, allowing “the safe and efficient trans- fer of key personnel to the normally unmanned installation.”
